Just go there. Seriously. Some tracks just have an energy that makes you want to come back again and again. This is one of them. Make sure you to cover a lot of ground and sew everything you can.
What is there to say? It's the greatest dirt track in the country. I grew up at this track so whenever I'm in the area I try to make it to the races at least once. There's nothing like sprint car racing.
Its very fun bring your kids and go to the pits after the races.
On regular nights, it's a very inexpensive way to have some fun. It can get pricey for the nationals & outlaws. First timers make sure u sit towards the middle or the back as you will get covered in mud at the front. You will get mud on you just not as bad further back. Food & drinks reasonably priced. Sunglasses are a good idea also.
I have been to lots of racetracks all over the country and Knoxville is by far the best l have ever seen. I am planning to return in April staying the whole season thru September in my motorhome.
